How Globetrotter Meadowlark Lemon Made a Career out of Joy
It always amused me that my mother, who was 5' 0" on her tallest day, played women's basketball for the University of Michigan [Go, Wolverines!] and it was she who introduced me as a child to the Harlem Globetrotters. They came to town every year and we would always make a point of seeing them.
