What If You're a "Native American" [according to the EEOC, anyway] and Still Eat Three Meals a Day?

A senior editor at Mother Jones wants you to know that you should stop eating three meals a day for reasons including the fact that it is “racist.”
“Dogmatic adherence to mealtimes is anti-science, racist, and might actually be making you sick,” proclaims the subhead to Kiera Butler’s Wednesday article, titled, “Why You Should Stop Eating Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.”
So, if I understand this correctly, a Caucasian woman at a magazine just told me, a half-breed, that I was a racist against my own people because I eat as I want.  I'll enjoy informing the other members of the tribe about this at the August pow-wow.

[A cultural note: "Native American" is a term invented by predominantly Caucasian academics in order to appear not to give offence to a racial group.  I've sat in faculty lounges where those present studiously use "N.A." while, at the same time, making jokes about casinos.  So much for racial sensitivity.

What is preferred is that one is identified by tribe.  If the tribal affiliation is unknown, then it is acceptable to use the generic identifier of "American Indian".  Yes, that's right.]
