When I was coming of age, it was conservatives who wanted to ban things. They wanted to ban certain movies, types of music, some books, etc. Words and thoughts were of particular concern to them. I believe the current term for this, the one that is used mostly by morons, is "problematic".
Nowadays, it's the liberals who want to ban the same things. Two perspectives that share the same grotesquerie, depending on their place in history. Remarkable, isn't it?
