When I was in junior high, every member of our school passed the President's Physical Fitness test. I remember some tertiary politician came to give the school an award and tell us we had "done good". Now, only 25% of youth can pass the test, even after it's been simplified over the past four decades.

On the other hand, the kids at all of the private schools at which I've worked have been almost universally and wonderfully fit. Hmmm, could there be a difference between government schools and private ones?
